Subscribe to E-Open Doors Bulletins Today!

Reading Room email bulletins are sent out to subscribers. These communications are provided about once a week and keep Reading Room workers up-to-date on products, news from branch church Reading Rooms, changes in The Mother Church Reading Room policies and practices, etc. And, they are free! Be sure to sign up today by sending the following information to OpenDoors@csps.com:

1. Your Name
2. Branch Church (please include number, city, state/province, & country)
3. Reading Room account number
4. Your role in the Reading Room (i.e. librarian, staff, interested member, etc.)
5. Email address to which the bulletins should be sent

Reading Room information included in monthly statement mailings
The Reading Room newsletter, informational and promotional flyers regularly enclosed in monthly statement mailings are available electronically. Click here to review and print them out.

Special mailings to Reading Rooms
Occasionally a letter is sent to Reading Rooms from the Manager of the Reading Room Activities. It outlines specific projects and plans in support of Reading Rooms or details about a particular activity. You are welcome to print out and share this helpful information with your staff and interested members.

Reading Room Workshops
Is your Reading Room everything you think it could be? Would you like to gather with your neighboring branch memberships to talk about the potential for Christian Science Reading Rooms?

A Reading Room Workshop is available for branch churches to sponsor for their area churches. Two representatives from Christian Science Reading Room Activities at The Mother Church facilitate this 4-hour workshop that explores the Manual By-Law for Reading Rooms and the challenges and successes of fulfilling it today. Sharing reports and pictures
Christian Science Reading Room Activities appreciates receiving reports and pictures of Reading Room events, displays, activities, etc. We offer helpful tips on taking and submitting the pictures. If you would like them to be considered for use in future publications or presentations, we will need the permission forms (found at the helpful tips link) signed by all appropriate parties and returned by mail at the same time as you mail/email your pictures. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Advertising your Reading Room
Inform your community about their local Christian Science Reading Room -- what a Reading Room is, what goes on there, and what it can do for them. Unlike product flyers, this one just talks about the Reading Room itself, highlighting features and services that make the Christian Science Reading Room in your community every bit as necessary and useful as the local post office or deli. Enlarge it for your window or share flyer-sized copies with customers, church and Sunday School visitors, business neighbors, and at events.

Materials to support Reading Room displays are currently available in several places.
